Description

TechDiamondTools diamond polishing compounds are suitable for lapping, polishing, and sharpening. All diamond pastes are oil-soluble and have no added color. The former provides faster cutting, and the latter allows using them on materials with high permeability.
A set of 3 diamond compounds is helpful when you need more than one polishing paste for your project. Each contains three different grits for a 3 step lapping or polishing process. You can choose from more than ten different combinations of compounds. One will help with the stock removal, and another will create a mirror finish, etc. Please, see our Grit Guide below to determine what set suits you best.

Specifications:
  • Quantity: 3 polishing compounds of different grit
  • Size: Grit 200,000-400 (0-80 microns) –  at your option
  • Concentration: High (50%), Medium (25%), and Light (10%) – at your option.
  • Weight: 5 grams /0.176 oz in each syringe
  • Oil-based
  • No color additives
General usage instructions:
  • Clean the surface thoroughly.
  • Apply a small amount of polishing compound on a piece of wool cloth or a polishing tool of choice.
  • Spread the compound evenly.
  • Buff the surface in a circular and (or) back-and-forth motion until you achieve the desired results.
  • To avoid contamination, use separate and different pieces of cloth for each different grit size used.

2 reviews for Diamond Polishing Paste, Set of 3 syringes, 5 grams

  1. Edm – June 30, 2021

Used 4k, 8k, 50k on Ethiopian opal and did not have any issues with the color of the diamond paste bleeding in my opals. I would buy again.

  2. DB – September 29, 2023

I am so glad I found Tech Diamond Tools – perfect product for me!
I have spent the last coupon years acquiring items for my Wicked Edge (WE) knife sharpener. I have diamond stones 100/200, 400/600, 800/1000, 1500/2200 and leather strops w/4- and 2-micron diamond emulsion spray bottles. This is a hobby for me, so keeping experiences down is a large concern. I do not mind paying for quality and well-engineered products that will last. The WE spray worked great but was not effective/easy to use without wasting a little bit every time I charged the leather due to overspray, splash or remaining in the nozzle. To replace the two (2) 7-ml bottles of WE 4- and 2-micron spray was what I paid for the set of three (5,000, 14,000, and 50,000) plus the 100,000 (all High concentration 50%, 5 grams which looks like a 5-cc syringe) and only $5 shipping. I have never been happier with a purchase. I will definitely buy again to give my friends as the current amount of product I have will probably last me many, many years.
There is absolutely no waste, all the diamonds are placed exactly where you want them. I spray with Isopropyl alcohol to break down the oil-based delivery vehicle. Once you get the correct amount on the strops, I charge much less frequently than with the original WE products. I have used the 5,000 and 14,000 for several months as they are a good replacement for what I was previously using. Just yesterday I broke out the 50,000 and 100,000 and put on new leather strops. I only intended to sharpen my EDC, but the results were so amazing that I started refining others only to be astonished at the results. Not only is it getting to be a remarkably shiny edge, but I have never had a knife so sharp. I can actually shave a newspaper’s thickness – lay the paper on the table and slide the cutting edge away from you lightly increase the angle until the paper starts over the edge – no resistance. You can stop and you have not cut through the paper. I have sharpened several Benchmade knives (154CM, CPM-S30V, M390, and CPM-S90V) all with incredible results.
